Each week, join us at 5:30pm for a light supper then stay for a speaker and small group time. If you have questions or would like more information, talk with one of the pastors or Teri Burns or click HERE to take a look at the brochure.

The next dinner out will be Monday, April 30, at 6 pm at Ike’s Minnetonka, 17805 Hwy 7, Mtka.  Please join in for some good food and fellowship.  Old timers and new timers are always welcome.  No need to sign up, just show up.

Who would have thought that we could potentially use our JTerm logo –

“In the midst of the snow, we continue to grow…”

for MayTerm, but …hopefully it will feel like spring when MayTerm begins on Wednesday, May 2, with a variety of classes offered for all ages. Classes will be held at 6:15pm and 7:30pm and will continue on May 9 and May 16. Classes include Gentle Yoga, Wood Carving, craft projects for kids and adults, Softball Spring Training, Scout ‘God and Church’ emblem award, Faith and Film pastors’ class, Get to Know Your Car, “Called to Serve,” “Is There Hope in Your Future,” and more!        Peterson/Morlock Concert

We have a special concert coming up on May 12, at 7 pm, featuring Hans Peterson and his son, Nelson Morlock, and their special guest, Ray MaKeever. Hans has been our Music Director for our children and youth groups, but will be finishing up that responsibility this Spring. As a joyful goodbye and proper send-off, we’re inviting all to a Saturday night concert with Hans. Come enjoy his wonderful brand of music, and know that there will be refreshments afterwards, plus CDs for sale too.

It's Hip to be Square

The FoC Quilting Ministry makes quilts for Lutheran World Relief and various Veterans programs.  Meetings are for tying quilts only.  No sewing is required, but help is always welcomed and appreciated. Join the fun for a couple of hours every other Friday afternoon, starting at 1 PM (the quilters take December off).  Oh, and there are other ways to help such as sewing squares together at home, sharpening scissors, or delivering quilts to the LWR warehouse twice a year.  For further information, contact Lynne Merrick at 952-937-8014.

Altar Flowers

A gift of flowers for Sunday worship is a lovely and meaningful way to remember a loved one, a special occasion, or a blessing received. For a very affordable $20, we will create a beautiful fresh arrangement to adorn the altar, which you may take home after Sunday worship, if you’d like. Sign up on the flower chart on the kiosk for the date(s) on which you’d like to provide flowers. Please make your check payable to “Family of Christ,” write “flowers” on the memo line, and leave the check in Marilyn Syverson’s mailbox in the church office.
